Who we are:
Ashton Chapel is a
Bible believing non-denominational community church.
Where we are:
Next to Ashton Wildwood Park and Observatory near the intersection
of Highway 330 and F 17, in northwestern Jasper County.
What we believe:
- The Bible is the inspired infallible Word of God and is the
only authority for
Christian faith and practice. 2 Tim. 3:16,17; 2 Pet. 2:1,2.
- The Genesis account of creation. Genesis 1:1
- One God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and
Holy Spirit. Mt. 28:19.
- Jesus Christ is Lord of all. We hold to His deity, virgin birth,
sinless life, vicarious death, burial and bodily resurrection; His
ascension to the right hand of God the Father and His personal, future
return in power and glory. Jn. 1:1,14; Mt 1:23; 1
Cor. 15:3,4; Acts 1:9-11
- The human race is separated from God because of sin and only Jesus
Christ can bring reconciliation. Ro. 3:23; 2Cor. 5:19; Col.
1: 19-21.
- Salvation is by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, who
paid the sin debt on the cross. Only those who place their faith
in Jesus Christ as their own personal savior experience salvation. Jn.
1:12; Rom. 10:13.
- The resurrection of the dead; the believer to life everlasting
and the unbeliever to condemnation. Jn. 5:28,29.
- The church is the body of Christ, which is composed of all believers
who have accepted Christ as Savior. 1Cor. 12:12,13.
- A literal heaven and a literal hell. Rev. 20:14,15; Rev.
21-22.
Our Purpose:
- To bring glory to God by sincere worship and obedience
to His Word.
- To evangelize near and far by proclaiming the gospel
of Jesus Christ.
- To provide opportunities for fellowship.
- To build up believers
in their faith.
- To provide opportunities for each believer
to become a minister by serving
others in the name of Jesus Christ.

Are you saved?
The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved” Acts
16:31 Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one
comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6.
If you can’t say for certain that God is your Father and Heaven is
your home, we urge you to place your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
today. “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans
10:13.
